Hadana Boutique Resort Hoi An

The resort was exquisite! Traveling in a group of 3, we stayed in two rooms with a connected door. It was great for us to open the doors and hangout as a group while still in our private place. The pool being at the center of the resort made it very accessible and enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and resourceful in providing us recommendations of places to eat, visit, and see. The bikes available for guests meant we were able to bike into the city to explore at our convenience. The breakfast menu had a solid selection, with a variety of items changing each day to keep things different. In terms of location, it was perfect to not be in the main touristy area with lots of foot traffic or people.

This hotel is a real gem! Ideally located between the old town and An Bang Beach, where they have a stakeout, the Dolphin Kitchen & Bar where you can use towels, sunbed, showers, park your bike and enjoy food & drinks. The buffet breakfast is great and plentiful, with choice of European and Vietnamese food. The pool offers a great break in the hottest time of day. Too bad some people reserve sunbeds and never show up but the hotel can’t help that.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite, and the restaurant served good food options for lunch and dinner. However, the walls are extremely thin - I could hear noise from other rooms and upstairs regularly, which got annoying quickly. Breakfast was just okay, and if you want a proper coffee (like a cappuccino or iced latte) or herbal tea, you have to pay extra. The gym was very poor, just a couple of cardio machines. Also, the property is at least a 15-minute walk from the main town area - something to keep in mind depending on your plans. Summary: Clean and comfortable with helpful staff - but walls are thin, and the property is at least a 15-minute walk from the main town.
