We loved this hotel. We got a room with a tiny balcony where we could see the river and all the lights. The rooftop bar had amazing views of several bridges and the ferris wheel. The location was great, we were able to walk around to several restaurants. Breakfast was very good too!
The Haian Riverfront Hotel offered a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We particularly loved the unique round bed in our room, which was very clean and had a modern feel. The bathroom was also a decent size. Breakfast was good with a nice selection at the buffet, although the coffee could have been better. The highlight of our stay was definitely the fantastic riverfront view. We had a great vantage point overlooking the river, the city, and the bridge. We even got to see the impressive Fire and Water spit show from the bridge at 9 pm on the weekend, which was a treat! There's also a convenient and good cafe located on the ground floor. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The only minor downside for us was that the pool wasn't heated enough to our liking. Overall, we had a great experience at the Haian Riverfront Hotel and would recommend it for its comfortable rooms, excellent views, and friendly service.
If you're looking for a quick and convenient stay, this is the place. It's not the best but it's very convenient for its location. The value is the area it's in, and this hotel is just a place to stay while you explore. The hotel itself is just acceptable, and we Southeast Asians are the world standard when it comes to service and hospitality. Do note that, like many Vietnamese businesses, there is an extra charge for using credit cards or late fees. With how much the average Vietnamese makes, this is fair, but things can get pricey if you are from an economically similar country like I am from the Philippines. Just don't be late. Also, be careful about most Vietnamese location reviews. I am being honest, but the industry is very competitive in Vietnam, with everyone wanting to be the best. 4 stars is a bad thing to many people because it takes away business, even though 4 stars in my culture are amazing already. I'm giving them 4 stars from the perspective of a Filipino traveler out of respect for other people's decision-making. The hotel is not the best but for it's price and location, it's great if you plan to go out more often.
