I am writing to express my deepest gratitude to you and your team, especially the janitor who found my wallet during my recent trip (Summer 2022) to Gondar, Ethiopia.Losing my wallet, which contained about $2500 and important personal and travel information, was incredibly stressful. When I realized it was missing, I feared the worst. However, thanks to the honesty and integrity of your staff, it was returned to me with everything intact. This act of kindness and professionalism not only saved me from significant inconvenience but also reaffirmed my faith in the goodness of people.Please extend my sincere thanks to the janitor who found and returned the wallet and the outstanding manager who showed exemplary leadership. The hotel is a bit ran down. Bathroom has mould & a bad stench. 2nd time here so it is not an isolated case because it was the same the last time (2022)… needs a revamp and proper cleaning. Lights do not work as well (dim rooms) Once you enter you are hit by a terrible smell from the bathroom. Not cute. If this is the best in Gondar, then I wonder how the rest are. All in all service by the receptionists is awesome. Especially Suraphel. Awesome guy !

Worst experience in Ethiopia. Booked this hotel, because they advertise their swimming pool. The problem is that it’s under constant cleaning/ maintenance and not available to use, even though the staff promise it would be available the following day. Room: cold shower, water doesn’t go down. Restaurant: you never get all toppings on your pizza. Summery: asked them to discount my bill due to all inconveniences, they refused. Don’t ever stay there!
