Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Atakoy

I had the pleasure of staying at Hampton hotel last week for a medical trip with my family and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is in a prime location and calm, secure area making it easy to access nearby metro, 'Marmaray' rail line, small bazar, food shops, restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities. Room was cleaned every day. The breakfast is great, always featuring fresh fruits, vegetables, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, coffee, tea, juices, cornflakes, jams, yogurt, and more. The hotel's special guest is a cat named Masha, and she really adds a unique atmosphere to the place. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

We made a good choice in coming here. Our room was all we could expect at price point, if not better. Service also impressed us. I used too much force in flushing the toilet so that it continued to fill. My friend was able to stop it so that we could sleep (we arrived at 2.00 in the morning). The cleaning team reported the 'fault' before we did and maintainance turned up to effect the repair. Reception made it simple to use the excellent trains and efficiently arranged taxis for business and airport transfers. There are good restaurants in the area, as well as really good local cafes for inexpensive but tasty dishes. The choice at breakfast was huge but the hot food was disappointing. That was the only negative. I would happily stay here again.

We had a non smoking room, but 2 nights in a row, cigarette smell comes out from AC at around 9pm. Disgusting
