Hampton Inn by Hilton Guayaquil Downtown

We had a very comfortable nights at this hotel, good location the room it was super clean. the person who was waiting at the airport to take us to the hotel gave us excellent service. It was close to everything in the loop of Guayaquil. The full hot breakfast was really good, And the people were really friendly. Would definitely come back. Amazing.

In the middle of downtown with fast food and all types of restaurants and shops right next door. Secured during the day and somewhat secured at night or I should say secured just keep handbags etc.. close and tight anywhere in the world. Room also had a slight damp odor. However, it got better once the A/C ran for a few hours. We had a suite facing the rear of the hotel and they're probably better off just sealing that window, junk upon junk.. in the middle of downtown with tons of traffic congestion, so it may be a nightmare for those that want peace and quiet. However you can't hear a thing from the rooms. Decent breakfast, nice polite staff, clean, good exercise equipment. One HUGE plus, One day I left my wedding band on the nightstand with some trash (by accident)to my surprise when I returned late that night the room was cleaned and my wedding ring was sitting on the nightstand, honest staff!!

I stayed there several years ago and it was great. I know it has been closed for over a year. The lettering has been removed but it clearly is what was formerly the Hampton Inn. I would stay there if it was still opened, but we found a good hotel nearby, The Palace.
