Hansa JB Hotel

my first time staying in this hotel due to event held there. really quite a bad experience. its very old and very unhealthy strong mold smell in the room. At first the room air con wasn't cold. After much attempt to approached the receptionist and get the technician to drop by our rooms couples of time and we were told that the air con needs time to cool down the room and was suggested that we leave the key in the room without turn it off from the main switch. meaning we have to approach the reception to open our room door when ever we come back. so much of a inconveniences. Worst part, only 1 Elevator out of 3 is able accessible. and everytime its quite a long wait for it. 2 rooms check in and placed a deposit under 1 deposit slip. 1 room check out earlier and left. the last room check out and wanted to take back our deposit money with the slip from the counter. Counter guy didn't even check on the key and insist that it wasn't return. after much argument then only they decided to look for the key and found that it was indeed check out. what kinda of service was that. Last by not least. No power points for us to plug in to charge our mobile phone. I have to remove one of the lamp plug to use it. ended up the lighting in the room was so insufficient. Room ventilation was so bad. my friend came back and fall sick in the end due to those moldy smell. its really bad for our health.

Rundown and old. Needs refurbishment urgently. Toilets are dirty. The aircond is not cold. Rooms were OK. But if you stay in Wing B, be prepared to walk a bit to the car park. In Wing B, out of the 3 elevators, only one works. During peak times, you will need to queue and wait long for your turn. No hair dryer in the room. When asked for one, they brought it up to my room but with condition of using only an hour. What a joke! Pbbbth. So not coming back to this hotel.

It's the worst hotel i ever stay. The building is old, but the room should have maintained or upgraded. Upon entering the room, i doesn't feel great about it. Room is dim, and there is not enough lighting. The power socket is miserable less, hot water pressure is higher than cold water, and the air con takes hours to cool down! Even lobby ac is better than room. This hotel really needs a renovation! Otherwise, it's not recommended... other than that, staff is friendly trying their best to solve all the problems within their means...
