Stayed here for 3 nights when we visited Hualien in June 2025. We are a family of 3 (with 1 baby). Pros - - Easy to check-in, the instructions were clear. - Location is good, it's a 10 minutes walk from the Hualien station. Quite a few eateries, coffee shops and grocery stores a few minutes walk away. - Nice kitchen area on the ground floor, which enabled us to cook some food, make coffee, wash our dishes and even had a steriliser for our baby's bottles. - Wifi was good throughout. - Lift is available in the property. - Our room had a queen bed and a single bed. Beds were comfortable. - A complimentary fruit platter was in the fridge upon our arrival, which is a nice touch. - TV had Disney+, Netflix (all logged in, so we didn't have to use our personal creds) Cons - - Rooms aren't the biggest, and with a baby it was a bit of a tight squeeze. We were the only guests for the first 2 nights, so it wasn't much of an issue. - Laundry is on the terrace, and it was raining. While the machines were protected from the rain, I ended up getting a bit wet while doing the laundry. - The dryer is quite old, and took two cycles to completely dry.

A calming room in a modern homestay on a quiet street at a great price. Highly recommend the double room 302. It was very comfortable and had a calm atmosphere. The view to the mountains was pleasant and constantly changing. Overall the value was very good. The bathroom and shower are great except the shower has a narrow section which is a bit awkward but no reason not to stay here.

Nice room, great view, comfy bed, excellent shower. Location was within walking distance of a number of restaurants and the train station. It was a bit dicey getting into the building, plus our room wasn't ready for our check in. The owner via a translated phone conversation offered a different room but it wasn't ready either. Despite the nice aspects, this last part would make me hesitant to book there for a future visit.
