Harbour Plaza Metropolis

Great location linking to metro lines easily. Rooms are tidy, clean and modern. Access to the pool is only limited to 8pm. The breakfast is okay, bit bland in some sections. Room had a great view of the pool and a outside seating area that I did not expect.

The hotel is in a very good location. During our trip to Hong Kong some time ago, we stayed at this hotel. The building and overall setup are quite impressive, with very little to complain about. However, the check-in process was unusually slow. Even during busy hours with many guests, only one or two counters were operating, which felt quite frustrating. On the positive side, the check-out was smooth and hassle-free. There didn’t seem to be any sense of guest hospitality. Although the hotel promotes reducing plastic use by not placing bottled water in rooms, they were still selling plastic water bottles at the reception. This made it seem like the policy was just an excuse to make money from guests rather than a real effort to reduce plastic use. Even the world’s biggest and most modern hotels provide filtered or bottled water in reusable containers. It’s disappointing that both the hotel and authorities seem to prioritize business over basic guest care in such a small but sensitive matter. The rooms were quite compact. Basic amenities were provided, and cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted nice. However, the staff felt more robotic than human—no greetings or friendly interaction, which made the atmosphere feel cold. Thank you.

Location , convenience and rooms were good . But water was not provided at all and no eco friendly containers were in the room nor are there water dispensers in each floor . I think that is a factor which has to be attended to by the management before somebody chokes to death and they get into any major problem. We went down to get some water from the coffee shop , which was closed and the staff refused to give a bottle of water and bill it to the room . If they can sell water why can’t they give a bottle for each room ? The staff are very rude in communicating
