The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach, which is a major plus. The service overall was good, and the entertainment team truly stood out — they were absolutely fantastic and made the stay enjoyable. However, the room was quite basic and didn't offer much comfort. One major downside was the lack of air conditioning, which is only available during specific times of the year. The kids club was also a letdown, with little to no activities and often closed. Communication with staff was sometimes a challenge as most didn’t speak much English, apart from reception and the entertainment team — but it wasn’t a big issue, I got by using gestures when needed. Overall, a great spot for location and fun, but the hotel could improve its room facilities and kids' activities.
First time visit with family and friends, the rooms ok, apart from the sewage smell that occupied ours (not our friends). Took 4days of complaining before our room was moved to one without smell. The director / manager tended to ignore my wife when she discussed the issues instead turning to only talk to me, extremely rude. People in charge would shout and talk aggressively to employees to hurry up or work harder right in front of the guests, this did result in some cases to employees picking up unfinished drinks etc and trying to take them away. The hotel is mainly French people who seemed to get friendlier and better service, most likely due to the shared language, though most employees spoke English too. Every where you went on site had something run down or broken, light bulbs, toilets, drinks machine, tiles on edge of pool (laid bits of furniture over). The beach and shallow part of sea had a lot sharp bits of brick and the occasional bit of glass in it. There was also full sized bricks in the water, a couple of afternoons saw the tide bringing in alot of sea debris and sea weed which made the water and people in it dirty. The meals were not great for kids and the left overs were used for the next meal time. The meat used was poor cuts often with small bones, cartilage left in even on the kebab sticks. Drinks are served in little plastic cups with limited choices, to obtain a glass or cocktail you were required to pay additional. The entertainment was very poor, the animators were very good and put in a lot of hard work to engage the holiday makers, but they were expected to use YouTube videos in the process of entertainment, such as dance night was a video from Nintendo just dance from YouTube that everyone had to dance along to, one of the activities they offered was clean the beach, I have never been asked this before not after paying thousands of pounds to be there, very odd. You will be told on arrival, they don't haggle, this is untrue they try to earn as much from you as they can and you can haggle them down. The weather on our august trip was perfect around 31-32degrees. Minus the debris on beach it was nice to be able to go in the sea, it was warm and clear in mornings plus some afternoons. The pool was nice (note only 1 main pool). The wasn't a fight for loungers, we got up at 7.30-8 and found enough loungers for 8 everyday either on beach or by the pool. Overall not a 4star resort, more like a 3. I would probably go again in the hope they had tidied up the resort as a hole.
The location is average, with only one small shop nearby. A plus is the large beach next to the hotel, though unfortunately not very clean. Sunbeds are available. The hotel itself is quite old and needs renovation, but the bedding and towels are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The meals (buffet) are very tasty and varied.
