Great food at the restaurant. Well educated and friendly stuff. Nice pool. Good opening hours. Dry Sauna a bit older but fit the purpose Fantastic playground for kids. Buffet restaurant one of the best I have tried in years, usually this is a minus in some Hotels if a half board is booked. this hotel is different, always fresh fish and well made lunch. Room was a bit small but nice, ok for us as we use the room always just to sleep. Had everything you needed.
Initial Impressions – Will Update After Stay We have been here less than 24 hours, and I am already hugely disappointed. • Room Security: The rooms cannot be locked from the inside. My 3-year-old will be sleeping on the sofa bed, which means the room feels insecure and unsafe. I raised this with reception and was told this was “for security reasons,” but no one could explain what that actually meant. I suggested a simple lock on the door handle – something that would keep a child safe without affecting the hotel’s security – but was told someone would get back to me. They haven’t. If you have young children who might open doors by themselves, think twice before booking here. • Dinner (Half-Board): For a supposed 5-star hotel, the food offering is underwhelming. The buffet is basic Polish cuisine with no frills. The coffee machine is switched off, there’s no ice cream, and wine is not included – unless you pay extra. Coffee, ice cream, and wine are available, but only at an additional charge. This feels like penny-pinching and is not what I’d expect from a hotel of this rating. • Children’s Play Zone: On the positive side, the play area is well-staffed and the team genuinely engages with the children. However, it’s disappointing to see a large screen in the space, which distracts from the excellent physical activities available. Many parents (myself included) come on holiday hoping to reduce screen time – this seems like a missed opportunity. • Swimming Pool: Very nice – clean, well-kept, and enjoyable. Overall, my first impressions place this as more of a 3.5-star experience rather than the 5 stars it claims. I will update this review with further feedback, both positive and negative, as the stay continues.
During our weekend stay at Havet Hotel Resort Spa we experienced the following positives and negatives: Spa: - exactly 5(!!!) relaxation beds in Sauna area > for a Hotel with around 200 rooms! - smells like cigarette smoke > disgusting after coming out of Sauna and having smoke around me!! While hotel calls itself smoke free by the way! - 19:00 to 22:00 we couldn’t use the pool as there has been Pool Party Fridays and snorkeling course satureday > annoying if you come for the weekend to relax! - also too less beds in the pool area > you need to be very early at opening to catch one. + big saunas + steam sauna Meals: + loads of fresh fruits and vegatables - could be more tables available Rooms: - very small bed rooms - spacious updated bath room - Not soundproof - carpet floring (Not uptodate anymore in hotel industry!) + very clean + Bath rope and slipper included Service: - reluctant staff - reception staff sparing with words + Not pushy, friendly The best thing has been: Cocktails Are Delicious! In total we cannot recommend the house unfortunately. Before our stay we planned to come back with our daughter for family vacation but we will not.
