Hayfield Manor

We stayed in the Hayfield Manor for two nights. Have to say was very impressed. We had lovely cocktails on arrival in the Garden Room, which were great.The room was lovely but had to move rooms as the flue from the boiler was just outside the window with the smell from the kitchen was entering the room. The rooms are very comfortable and a lovely view of the garden. The food in the Perriots restaurant was absolutely amazing, one of the best meals we had. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall would recommend staying or dining there.

We had a beautiful stay. Everything was fantastic but the service we received from the lovely lady who checked us in was second to none. I think her name was Mary. She was so kind. A few minutes after we got to our room a knock on the door with some bubbly on ice was a super nice touch. We were amazed with how she picked up on a couple of details that we must have mentioned. And to top it off when we needed something that we had left behind in our room it was posted to us without hesitation by her once again. The place is truly 5* but it’s the staff that make it a cut above everywhere else.

Beautiful quiet hotel central to everything. Manages to impress with attention to detail without the pretension of many 5 star hotels. Food is outstanding and the rooms are pristine. The hotel offers excellent value as well, you really get a lot for the price. Particularly when they have offers. We had a wonderful graduation dinner here for 13 people and couldn’t be more pleased. Hayfield has become a hotel for our family to visit for several generations. The spa fills up its books quickly so call ahead early to get a reservation.
