Hestia Hotel Wine And View

We had an excellent stay at the Hestia hotel. Well located, nicely furnished with cute terrace viewing the mountains.

Had a great stay here in a room with a view over the yard and the distant mountains (which view was even better from the top floor rooftop terrace). It's a little ways out of the center of town, but only a 10 minute walk, which for us was nice. The owners/managers stay out of your way but are also helpful. We made the terrible mistake of leaving without paying (thought it happened automatically through the booking!) and they allowed us to settle the bill when we returned to Telavi a few days later. Would certainly stay here again.

Those who've been traveling in Georgia for a while know that it's often difficult to find good accommodation here. A place may look fine in the pictures, but when you arrive, you discover that there are no towel hangers, no ambient lighting, nowhere to hang your toiletry bag, and no place to put shower gel, among other small annoyances. At Hestia, however, you won't find any of those issues—everything is as it should be. – The place is impeccably clean and decorated in a modern, minimalist, and tasteful way. – The amenities are excellent. – The terrace offers incredible views and a delightful atmosphere. – Nino, the host, is warm, welcoming, and highly responsive. – The complimentary wine is delicious. – The location is perfect. – Some rooms have small desks, ideal for those who, like me, work remotely. We spent a lovely evening on the terrace, sipping wine, playing board games, and enjoying what turned out to be one of the best, if not the best, evenings of our stay in Georgia.
