I am truly impressed by the exceptional level of customer service at every stage—from the front desk to the buffet staff. The dedication to ensuring guest satisfaction surpasses even what I have experienced in five-star hotels in the United States. I could mention many staff members by name, but the list would be too long. One thing is certain: I will definitely return on my next trip to Arenillas, Ecuador
Hillary resort is absolutely beautiful. The staff are very friendly… Shout out to Carlos who’s service is exceptional.
When I checked in the obnoxious check-in woman ripped me off for an additional $55.00 even after checking in with my passport! Expedia said they charged me the total price for my reservation for my stay! The obnoxious belligerent check-in woman said because my friend checking in with me was Ecuadorian, I had to pay the IVA TAX of 15%, plus a $10.00 resort fee! Upon returning to Guayaquil I asked an attorney about the SRI laws for a foreigner checking in with a passport and a Ecuadorian! He said if I made the reservation and paid for it, it did not matter what the nationality of the person with me was! Was ripped off for $55.00 extra dollars for my stay! Would not recommend this resort!
