The best stay I’ve had in a long time. From the comfortable and spacious rooms, to its amazing and caring staff and great location in Konya, closed to so many attractions. Stayed for 3 weeks and felt like home. The breakfast was tasty and the afternoon sweets were just what I needed at the end of the day. All employees provided an excellent customer service at all times. I had an issue with the self laundry and the hotel’s laundry staff (Güllü and Hatice Mercan) came to the rescue and ensured my laundry was done on time. Mr. Ozgur, the hotel’s GM is the best of all. He really knows how to make guests feel at home, What a wonderful stay! This is the only place you should stay when visiting Konya!

recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Konya, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. While the rooms were not exceptional, they were comfortable and met all the essential needs. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of modernization and overall ambiance. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the breakfast buffet, it was genuinely impressive with a wide variety of options and excellent quality. Unlike some other brands, such as Marriott, where breakfast can sometimes feel like a privilege rather than a part of the stay, Hilton Garden Inn made the experience seamless and welcoming without any hassle. With a few updates to the rooms, this property has the potential to offer a much more elevated guest experience.

This is not a Hilton-quality hotel. Our stay was unacceptable—not only because of what occurred, but because of how the staff handled it. It was a gross mishandling of a security related issue. On April 18, 2025, shortly after check-in (around 3:17 PM), someone knocked and immediately tried to enter our room. I was in the shower, and only the security latch prevented the door from opening. I reported this to the front desk. Instead of expressing concern or investigating, the front desk manager first asked, “Did you put up the Do Not Disturb sign?” When I said no, he shrugged—implying it happened because I didn’t put up the sign and thus was my fault. He then asked, “So did anything happen?” I explained no, because I had locked the door. He then proceeded to minimize the incident because “nothing happened.” But nothing happened because I took precautions, not because the hotel followed protocol. His attitude was dismissive, defensive, and frankly, disgusting. There was no concern, no investigation, no apology. The female colleague, disappointingly, also showed no empathy or understanding. They casually guessed it might have been housekeeping, without verifying. At Hilton, housekeeping doesn’t barge into rooms unannounced—especially minutes after check-in. I later raised the issue with the general manager, who kept cutting me off at every sentence and was not willing to listen. He offered only surface-level responses and compensation gestures without any real accountability. But we refused everything because all we wanted was a sincere apology. They said they’ll send a “fruit basket” and what they sent it looked like it had been thrown together from scraps. This experience reflected a serious failure in guest safety, professionalism, and respect. Hilton should be embarrassed to have its name on this property.
