This was my 4th time staying here and finally got an upgrade to the executive room with an outdoor bath. I mainly stay at this hotel to enjoy snorkeling at the Sesoko beach but this time my son and I truly enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi also. Everybody at the hotel provided excellent service and I want to give kudos to Ms. Noa at the front desk and Ms. Lochana at the executive lounge especially. The all day dining place is my least favorite place since their food is kinda disappointing to me all the time but at least I didn't see fruitflies or flies this time so that is upside. If you are available to use executive lounge and not interested in Japanese food for breakfast, have a breakfast at the executive lounge instead. I highly recommend this hotel if you love snorkeling. You won't regret it.

Hilton Okinawa Sesoko Resort – Review We recently spent four nights at the Hilton Sesoko Resort and found both highs and lows during our stay. Positives: • Beautiful location – The hotel is set in a stunning spot with ocean views and easy beach access. • Spacious, comfortable rooms – The rooms are large, modern, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. • Attentive service – Staff were consistently kind and accommodating throughout the resort. • Excellent meal at the Grill restaurant – The highlight of our dining experience was a fantastic dinner at the Grill, with great service and well-prepared dishes. Areas for Improvement: • Lack of atmosphere – While the facilities are clean and new, the overall ambiance is lacking. The main dining room feels cold and undecorated, and the pool area is underwhelming with no music or inviting setup. • Language accessibility – All printed materials in the lobby are only in Japanese, which makes it hard for international guests to get information. • Limited entertainment – Although a few events were listed on the calendar, none took place during our entire stay, leaving the resort feeling a bit lifeless. • Additional charges – Many amenities you’d expect to be included—like yoga classes, beach chairs, and umbrellas—come with extra fees. • High prices and limited dining – Dining options are both expensive and limited, which is inconvenient given the resort’s remote location. Final Thoughts: This resort has great potential with its beautiful setting and quality rooms, but it needs key improvements in atmosphere, guest experience, and value for money. With some thoughtful changes, it could become a truly relaxing and enjoyable destination—especially important when there’s nothing nearby to explore.

While the location and beach are beautiful, there are several areas that need improvement to justify the price point. Check-in: The process took much longer than expected and felt more like waiting in an airport immigration line. Even with about 3 to 4 staff members at the counter, the wait was still considerable. Adding to the confusion, there was a DJ playing loud music during check-in, which gave off more of a Vegas or Cancun party vibe rather than the relaxing resort atmosphere we were hoping for. Given the spacious lobby, the layout could be better optimized to improve the flow of guests. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms: The room itself felt underwhelming. It lacked a sofa and only had two dining-style chairs and a small table, which made the space feel a bit sparse and impersonal. However, the balcony and the view were definite highlights. Service: Housekeeping was exceptional. They went above and beyond by tidying up our cables, neatly organizing skincare products on a towel, and leaving the floors spotless. The staff at the entrance were also consistently friendly and accommodating. Food: Dining options on the island are fairly limited. The hotel’s Italian restaurant was quite good, though the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, even considering the premium beachside location. Overall: There’s a disconnect between the hotel’s intended vibe and the actual guest experience. It felt like management was aiming for a Vegas-style party atmosphere, while the staff delivered more of a calm, resort-like experience. The lobby layout could use refinement. Placing the gift shop directly next to one of the flagship restaurants detracted from the overall aesthetic. It may be better to relocate the Grand Vacations office and place the gift shop there instead. The Grand Vacations office felt like an aggressive upsell, especially with the DJ playing nearby. Given the hotel’s relatively remote location, parking should be complimentary for guests. Charging for it gives the impression of unnecessary penny-pinching. In summary, while the staff were great and the location is lovely, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again at this price. There are better options that provide more cohesive value.
