Hiriketiya Cinnamon Garden

Perfect if you are looking for basic budget accommodation in Hiriketiya. It is probably the cheapest you can get for the quality and owner is such a kind man. We stayed in a couple of different rooms, unfortunately there was some uninvited cockroaches, no hot water and the rooms aren’t particularly clean. However, the quality is very relative to the price!

Inexpensive alternative if you don't have high standards. The bathroom is very simple. Was there for a short time and mostly outside, so quite ok for the price. Serviced by an older, helpful gentleman. I wish you a good season.

Unfortunately one of the worst accomodation experiences I have and I have been backpacking for months now. In a private ac room. Dirty (but at least the bedsheets where clean), and everything just barely works (ac not strong, low water pressure). There is a nice area to seat outside but also - not clean. When I arrived afternoon and said I will check in the host asked me to wait 10 minutes as they clean the room. They cleaned the toilet seat and thats it - soap rack, floor, windows, counters - where dirty. Dust, spider nets. The host is trying to be nice (like recommending a place to eat) but communication was very very hard in english.
