I don't usually post reviews, but this was particularly bad. We didn't mention to the staff that the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was a disposable razor filled with hair on the shelf in the shower. We did ask them to refill the coffee pods, which hadn't been done, and nobody came to our room to provide us with coffee despite having asked. The next morning when checking out, the reception staff told me I had to pay $20 more for the room than I had paid the day before when checking in. Our taxi was waiting for us to take us to the airport, so I elected not to fight him and risk losing our ride. That amount was not charged to my card, but it looks like my card information was compromised because one month after staying at the hotel, a $0.01 charge from Hive Cancun ended up on my card with no response to the disputed charge from the hotel.

THEY STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT!!! I booked 7 rooms and paid a deposit for all of them on the first night. I was told that if I presented the deposit receipt at checkout, the deposit would be refunded. On checkout day, everything seemed fine—I showed the receipt, and they claimed the refund had been processed and would appear in my bank account within 3 working days. It’s now been over a month, and I still haven’t received the refund. Despite multiple follow-ups (Which they ignored), nothing has been resolved. This feels like outright theft. Be warned—do not book here

They are only worried that guests pay them the extra fees upon arrival, I stayed 2 nights and in total I had to pay an extra of $115 usd, yes that’s right. On top of that, my assigned room was not ready, I encountered many noise disturbances caused from maintenance staff, this staff turns music from midnight, music played on Corridor could be heard all the way inside room, after notifying this to reception, same man staff proceeds to “clean” the pool on third floor, this started 11am and around 6pm, since reception do not pick up Room calls, they then called this man and his reply was: “filter pool is on in case we have a reservation”.. Reception replies “we had only had 1 throughout the day, go ahead and turn it off” Retaliation and childish actions that can lead to a dangerous and more serious outcome. I would not recommend this place.
