Holiday Inn Aktau Seaside by IHG

We are so incredibly satisfied and happy with this hotel. The staff put forth extraordinary effort to accommodate our stay. The front desk was always helpful and the housekeeping was terrific. Our IHG status enabled us to get a room upgrade to a suite and the welcome amenity covered breakfast throughout our stay. The dining options were sufficient for lunch and dinner (inside and outside the hotel). There is also a children’s play room in the hotel with unlimited hours. We loved having options of swimming in the indoor pool, at the adjacent waterpark, or even in the Caspian Sea. Just a few short steps from the promenade, the city seemed to come alive when the sun went down. We love the views of the sea. We will miss this place once we leave. Thank you to the staff!

Winter (mid January) impressions: This hotel is a few miles away from the center however easily accessible by public transport, even walking. This is a "nice weather" oriented hotel however I stayed in mid winter and enjoyed. There are attractions for families and children. Swimming pool was more than sufficient this season. The breakfast was good. You can choose a sea view room. There are alternatives for dinner and coffee around. A couple of restaurants at the coast were temporarily closed but those at the residential neighbourhood were open.
