Holiday Inn Edinburgh by IHG

This was definitely my favorite hotel to stay at while I traveled Scotland and if I came back to Edinburgh I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms themselves are very nice, clean and have everything that a guest needs. There's several bus stops right in front of the hotel that go on different routes so traveling to other areas in Edinburgh is very convenient. I recommend trying out their breakfast which is an all you can style buffet. The hotel's right next to the zoo but I never heard any noises from it. It was an excellent experience. Thank you very much to the hotel staff.

We loved our 3 night stay at this hotel, it was perfect for visiting the zoo and a short bus ride into the city. The food was surprising good for a Holiday Inn, and we loved the kids menu. Even better the food wasn’t piping hot so the kids could eat it straight away! The room was perfectly made up, has been recently refurbished and everything functioned well. Would highly recommend for those visiting Edinburgh and can’t wait to visit again!

Happened to stay here when I did as it just so happened to be one of the most affordable at that time of year? (April 2025) Room was great, good size, nice bathroom. The Location next to the zoo and the proximity to the shops one side and the center the other end of the road is great. Only negative experience when I was there, which wasn't the hotels fault was just some young lads set off the fire alarm which then wouldn't stop for a while. So I sat in my car with my partner until it was turned off properly.
