Holiday Inn Lille Ouest Englos by IHG

Great staff, who spoke excellent English Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good with hot and cold options. Lots of parking and the reception staff were helpful when I arrived early. I was able to leave my car there and explore until the room was ready. It's only a short bus to the Metro station in Lille or a 50 min walk. A good location to visit Lille. I would use this hotel again

This is a large hotel, but unfortunately the rooms are clearly in need of renovation. The carpets are old and worn, which affects the overall comfort. For business travel, I would recommend looking elsewhere. On the plus side, there are plenty of parking spaces available right at the hotel, which is convenient if you're traveling by car.

Disgusting hotel. The carpets in the hallways and bedrooms are filthy - see the picture, we booked 2 rooms and both were disgusting. One had hairs still in the shower and sink. I complained through the global customer service and got a refund and drove 3 hours away. That’s how bad it was! The reception was nice and modern but this is all a trick as the building is shocking. The receptionist told me we were lucky the restaurant was open only as there was a group in tonight…. This place is near a Burger King which was also not open and not much else! The hotel photos online are fairly nice due to lighting and angles but in person the hotel is in a run down industrial area with the building needing serious extensive renovation. The wood facade is damaged and breaking. The paint is peeling everywhere. The pool is dirty. The receptionist admitted he wouldn’t walk on the carpet without shoes. Enough said… I cannot explain better how horrible this hotel is
