The hotel is pretty neat. Food is excellent even though choices are rather limited. Service is top notch, personnel are super nice and attentive. The location is honestly strange; the view is phenomenal, but right behind the hotel there are literal slums, and in order to get to the hotel one has first to go through a nightmare of extreme poverty, let alone that along one of the routes to the hotel is a ferry that gives goosebumps to anyone with the least sense of technical sturdiness. However, for those seeking coptic heritage tourism it is located snug between two important sites. As for those seeking a whiff of country-side air while relaxing in a rooftop pool; there aren't any hotels in upper Egypt that can offer such a combination with the modernity and class that this hotel can offer.
Amazing location & view. Very friendly staff I didn't spend the night there, I went only for drinks at the cafeteria during a visit to the wonderful church there
We visited cafe only but the staff was very tough and the waiter presented the check even before we asked for it.
