Better than I expected for the price. I really don't know what some of the negative reviews are referring to. My floor was clean and the carpet was not bad. My room was in good condition. It was very large, you could play soccer on there. If I was staying longer I would have been irritated with the TV because it doesn't swivel enough but was good for the night. The shower was nice and not as skimpy on the water as some hotels. The front desk was very helpful and friendly and even gave me a discount card to eat at the restaurant across the street. The breakfast was average that I've had at other Hilton Continental breakfasts. I didn't like the potatoes, eggs were ok (I say the same at all the ones that make the egg/cheese taco shape egg) sausage seemed like it was out too long and the waffles were good. The location was a little out of my path and took way longer to get to my destination because of traffic but I'd stay there again.
The hotel was overall acceptable for a brief work stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful also. However, the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The carpet is crumpled up in spots and the curtains in my room were ripped up vertically for some reason. Floor tiles in the bathroom were shattered and the sliding door on the shower was unstable. If you plan to use the kitchenette to cook, just know that they only provide one small pot. I also noticed that only spoons were available for silverware, no forks. The TV also faced perpendicular to the bed, and the swivel only rotated something like 30 degrees so the TV was unwatchable from the bed. The breakfast was alright, though I have definitely had much better complimentary breakfast at other comparable hotels. These are minor gripes, nothing deal-breaking, but I do think the owners here ought to consider some changes, particularly to the rooms, in the near future.
My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for two nights. Upon arrival, his caste mates were relocating to a new hotel because 3 of the rooms had bed bugs and some of the other rooms had stains. Our room was lucky to not be infested, yet, but smelled strongly of bleach. I wouldn't have been able to stand the smell of bleach if I had not brought my own pillow. We didn't have stains except on the ceiling in the bathroom. There were cracked tiles in the bathroom as well we noted so we wouldn't get charged. One of the pillows smelled sour like it had mildewed. We did not have the funds to relocate like his fellow caste did or we would have. The included breakfast was processed foods. The eggs looked like they came from a box. The potatoes were dry with dried seasoning to mask the quality. The waffles you could make yourself but the spray they used for the waffle maker was filled with chemicals including a silicon. There had been a car in the parking lot that had gotten broken into as well while we were there. They cleaned it up overnight. The hotel is right off a highway with a bunch of chain restaurants. It's easy access to leave the area because you do not want to spend much time there. I would be scared to stay here again because how easily bedbugs can get into your luggage and items. We did not explore the hotel or let house keeping in to ensure the bedbugs would not come into our room. Definitely not a relaxing stay. The best part would be that it was quiet and easy to leave the area due to central access to the highway.
