We stayed at Hotel Admiral in March, which was quiet and rainy in Perast. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, and arranged our ride to the airport in Dubrovnik! Our room was clean and lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here and supporting a wonderful family-run business.
We dined at the restaurant of Hotel Admiral in Perast, though we weren’t hotel guests. The ambiance was breathtaking, with our table right by the sea, creating a magical and deeply emotive experience. The wine selection is somewhat limited, but I highly recommend the Chardonnay from Montenegro’s Plantaže winery. The mussels were average (3/5), and the sea bream, while tasty, was a bit too dry. The service was warm and friendly, though occasionally charmingly clumsy. All in all, we had a delightful evening.
The hotel is located right on the Bay of Kotor. We had two rooms booked, both with a view of the bay. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Starting from May 1st, parking is only allowed in designated areas at the entrance to the town — it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel, or the hotel staff can pick you up from your car. Breakfast is served with an amazing view, although the selection is limited. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, but the hotel itself is fantastic!
