Hotel Agrabad

Hotel agrabad, one of the oldest hotels in Chittagong. Probably older than most of our fathers. Despite being old, they are still managing to stay upto mark. Washroom, rooms, reception everything is quite similar to modern hotels. Though you can feel a bit of nostalgia and indian vibe when you first enter the hotel lobby. When we arrived, we were thoroughly checked by a female guard. Its understandable for the sake of safety but HER ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR WAS SUPER RUDE. Now for the rooms, you can see in the picture, the sofa pillows are dark due to dust. It was not cleaned for ages Breakfast is buffet and items was around 20 to 30. Mostly english food. Swimming pool was dirty. Water was cloudy. Most importantly OVERPRICED ROOMS. overall, I don't know if I should Recommend it, but there is very few hotels in the ctg city. So think before you book this hotel

The room was clean. The staff was good but every time I entered the hotel, security checked the poly bag I had carrying. Outside food is not allowed. Breakfast was also good. House keeping was responsibe. Cable TV quality is very poor.

Modern comforts like its pool, spa, and gourmet dining breathe life into its storied walls, but its soul? That was built decades ago-on rhythm, reputation, and a revolutionary sense of welcome.
