The key highlight of this hotel is its location and value for money. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was spacious with a nice balcony. Although the hotel shows its age with some wear and tear, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Georgia. That said, there were a few downsides. There was no hot water available at 5:00 AM, which was inconvenient, and no power plug near the bed, making it hard to charge devices. I chose this hotel primarily for the gym facilities, but unfortunately, only the treadmill was functional—the other two pieces of equipment were out of order. Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with a good breakfast and central location, it’s worth considering, but don’t expect much from the gym.

Poor hospitality by the staff, no one is showing the way to the elevator on your first visit, very narrow elevator door,a 14 story high building which has one elevator only so expect some waiting periods. there was no trash bin in the room, no toothpaste/toothbrush available. Unusual breakfast time (9-11). Limited dinner choices. Breakfast is fine with a good view of the sea from 13th floor. Internet was very slow specially during evenings. Didn't enjoy my stay at Batumi.

I had the misfortune of making a non-refundable reservation at this hotel for October, as I was planning to attend a family reunion. Unfortunately, my flight got canceled, forcing me to reschedule. I reached out to the hotel multiple times, politely explaining the situation and requesting a free-of-charge cancellation, with the intent of rebooking once my travel dates were sorted. I fully understand that they had every right to refuse this request. However, what’s truly appalling is the hotel's complete and utter lack of communication. They ignored every single one of my messages—both directly and through booking.com. I had to escalate the situation to booking.com customer service just to get a response. The hotel then claimed they couldn’t find my reservation (really? In 2024, when everything is digital?), and their excuse was that their so-called 'reservation specialist' wasn’t available. Who even needs a specialist for something that should be as simple as pulling up a reservation number in a database? It’s absurd! When booking.com followed up again, the hotel miraculously 'found' my reservation but said they needed more time to process my request. Spoiler alert: they never did. The lack of accountability and respect for their guests is beyond unacceptable. Eventually, booking.com stepped in and canceled the reservation on my behalf. The hotel’s failure to communicate, their refusal to address the issue in a timely manner, and their complete disregard for customer service speak volumes about the type of establishment they are running. While they had every right to refuse my cancellation request, their decision to go radio silent and ignore my attempts at communication is a glaring red flag. This is not just bad service; it’s outright incompetence. Avoid this place at all costs.
