The best apartment with an awesome view. We have been pleased by ordering sausages for breakfast even if not on menu. We will be back in May.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. So the hotel is under reconstruction, but there are rooms available. The positives are that the staff is really friendly, and the apartment had a really nice view to the castle. But unfortunately thats it. Because of the reconstruction there is a lot of dirt and durst in the hotel. Also, cats are walking in and out of the hotel. I saw several different cats. My room was also a bit dirty. I found some hair or fur in my bed as well. The breakfast was ok, they made me a fresh omlette, which was fine, but the rest was not fresh at all.
WE HAVE BEEN SCAMMED. The hotel owner cheats on people!!! Don’t even plan to go there and read recommendations before you book. First of all, nobody informed us about the general renovation of the hotel after we booked it. But it’s not a minor renovation, it’s a general renovation inside and outside! When we came there, the parking was full of debris and dirt and it was difficult to park there with a huge car, what’s more, the cars got very dirty because of the works and dust and dirt that was floating in the air. But that was only a beginning. When we came in, we saw that the ground floor is totally demolished what includes the broken floor and broken tiles on the floor that were broken and moving, there were also holes in the ground, it was very dangerous for people and also our dogs that we came with. After I told them about it, they put the old dirty carpet on a part of it and that was even worse because the holes were covered and you stepped onto the carpet and put your feet into the holes. The next disappointment came when we reached our room which was dirty including the bed sheets which looked like somebody peed on it and had scratches and holes. There were also holes in the ceiling and the kitchen wasn’t equipped at all, it had broken fridge, dirty drawers, no forks, no spoons, no knifes, no pots, no bowls, no coffee, no tea, no cups, A DRAMA… The bathroom was dirty and we got only one toilet paper for 3 nights, the hair dryer was also unavailable and I had to ask for that many times. We wouldn’t demand it all if it wasn’t mentioned in the description of the hotel and the room and if it wasn’t a „4 STAR HOTEL”. Generally, the hotel was all dirty and full of dust! We paid 350 € for 3 nights!!! When I told the employee that this is a disaster and that we want a refund they offered another room which was the same or even more dirty. Then I talked to an owner and we came to an agreement that the refund we’ll be made and that I will not contact Booking and post any recommendation, the amount of 150€ had to be refunded to me in cash the next day, but they changed their mind and promised to transfer it to my account and gave me the appropriate invoices. NOW it’s been more than 3 weeks and no refund and no contact from their side!!! I called them 3 days ago, they promised to contact me today, now they’re not even answering the phone. I’m out of words, this is just clearly cheating and scamming people.
