Hotel Alto Del Viento

Absolutely beautiful and almost stunning place. It is located only about 10 minute walk down to the city centre. I have included some photos of the walk. But the hotel itself is really beautiful from the rooms to the furnishings and very helpful staff. There is a real peaceful atmosphere about the place and the surrounding views are quite lovely. It was a delight to stay.

Stayed here as part of small group tour. I normally don't review but loved the design which is simple, artistic and open to elements. Loved outdoor shower, rooftop pool and ground floor space. Lovely breakfast, but no other food/drink on site. Really beautiful art and local materials used throughout. Owner artist also supports local artistsans/makers reviving traditional techniques. It is a~10 min walk outside centre of town up a hill. Easy tuk tuk ride if it's hot.

Nice and quiet but still close to town. No TV in rooms and bathroom is open air. It can get a little stuffy with the bedroom window closed. If you leave the lights off you won’t have as many bugs in room. If you’re really bothered by a few flying insects in your room this might not be a good option for you. Nice artwork around by the owner. View of town is great from rooftop pool. Breakfast is very basic.
