Hotel Amalias Hus

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was very cute and historical. We brought our dog and the staff was incredibly accommodating (left some dog treats for us in the room). The food was the highlight of this hotel. The dinner was one of the best meals I have had. They source all their food locally and create a new menu based on what is in season. Breakfast was also amazing. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Gränna.

We rated Amalia Hus as excellent because on every level without exception it is. The room was wonderful, the dinner was superb and the breakfast (5-courses) was something we will be talking about for some time. The service by the staff from the front desk to the restaurant is faultless. Incidentally when we arrived in Stockholm one of my friends asked me where we had been and he had also stayed in the past at Amalia Hus. He shares my opinion that there is only one place to stay in Granna and that is right here.
