Had the wonderful opportunity to stay here for about 2 weeks in the summer. The experience was unreal. Was the only guest and was treated like royalty. The vibes and atmosphere is amazing. Almost like a curated museum with the amazing art and interior design has inspired me after at home. Food is amazing , area superb and staff is absolutely the best. I will be staying at Hotel Amparo many more times. Lock this hotel down for your visit it’s such an experience. I want to get drinks with the owner and discuss art.
Highly recommend Hotel Amparo-- we loved our stay. The location is in the heart of San Miguel making it easy to walk everywhere. The hotel is beautiful and the center courtyard is an oasis. Our room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. We ate several meals at the hotel and the food was fantastic. Eugenia and Ruben so welcoming and helpful! We will be back on our next visit to San Miguel.
Rubén and Montse were incredible hosts, curating a luxurious and very special stay for us. They made sure everything was seamless, from airport transfers to arranging a driver for our wine tasting appointments. The hotel is beautiful and well designed, with cozy fireplaces, stunning outdoor/common spaces, and everything you need for a comfortable 5 star stay without sacrificing character. The food is also excellent, we can’t wait to come back when the new restaurant is open! When we come back to San Miguel we will definitely be staying at Hotel Amparo again.
