Hotel Bengal Blueberry

Small hotel, i Gulshan 2. The area is strategic and safe, within the diplomatic area, yet walking distance to the market. Service is OK and room size good. They have 2 separate building and if you get the back building, you need to navigate the way to reach your room.

Located in residential as well as commercial areas of Gulshan-2. It's a corner plot and amazing views. Limited car parking place. The environment is very cool. Unimart super shop, restaurants, Gulshan DCC market, banks, ATM booths, Embassy office, Corporate offices are very near the hotel.

This hotel doesn’t deserve four stars. The rooms are old, with lots of broken items in the rooms. The entire hotel smells like toilet. My room was supposed to be non smoking but for two days, cigarette smell reeked. I called and complained. The staff claimed they couldn’t find the source of that smell even thought am pretty sure it’s next door or the room upstairs. Though the staff in general are friendly, the hotel does mot meet international standards. We haven’t started discussing how food is bland. The location is convenient but it’s next to the main street which is super loud and chaotic. If you are to stay in Gulshan, there are better options. Considering the underwhelming experience of staying here, I would say that the hotel is overpriced and should be labeled as 3 stars, rather than 4.
