Wonderful historic hotel. Everything about our stay at Casa Don Gustavo was perfect - location, room, service, food. Highly recommend.

Lovely and quaint hotel located minutes from the town square and close to all the restaurants and historic places. Although a very small city the hotel is like a historic villa with colonial style period features. Nice place, however basic room and breakfast only, no frills and other services or entertainment.

If I had to describe our stay at Casa Don Gustavo, I'd say it was like being the guest in an affluent home a hundred years ago. Except we had a refrigerator and air conditioning. We splurged a little and stayed in one of the Master Suites for three nights. The suite was very comfortable, nicely furnished with a large bathroom. Breakfast was included and was very good. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the historic center of town and a short walk to the Malecon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will most likely stay there again on our next visit to Campeche. I will mention that it is an expensive hotel compared to some of the other nearby hotels, and for this visit we felt it was worth it. Although on our next visit we will probably consider staying in one of the standard rooms.
