Hotel Casa Esmeralda

Rooms are great, the staff are amazing, and a good location for everything. Only downside is the street / lane can be noisy at night, as it is the thoroughfare to the upper area of the tourist district. That's not something the hotel can really deal with - more just FYI.

Excellent hotel: When I arrived the hotel, I saw the door, it looks like a hidden place, the door requires safe code. Location is perfect, you can walk to the hill through the stairs between the buildings in photo 2. It is quite at night. while be careful walk on the street at night. The room is clean and facility is nice. bathroom has strong power water flow. it is so necessary in Valparaíso, even in summer time I feel cold at night. By the way, there are tableware, cups, and even an oven in the room. These are all unexpected by me. Maybe this is a B&B. And the hotel has a friendly girl in reception, her English is quite good, and told me lots of useful infos. there is a kitchen in floor 2, but the staff didn't introduce it. if they have a cleaning service during the days I stay, it gonna be better.

Great location. Great rooms. It's nice to see an old building repurposed. The staff were great.
