Hotel Casa Justina

This hotel is beautiful and amazing!! It is a newer hotel with many amenities. The murals are spectacular and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The beach is a short walk down some stairs. It was a very comfortable and peaceful stay here. Highly recommended.

Most of the hard product is quite good. Luxurious Marble and Stone rooms. Excellent air conditioning. Pleasant enough staff. That's where the good news ends. Beds are quite hard. No pillow top here. No elevator even though it's a four-story walk-up. COLD water showers for my entire stay, albeit only one night thank goodness. No hot water available. The Hotel is Not really on a swimming beach. The entire area outside the hotel seems to be occupied by fishing boats. Quite a walk to the nearest guest Beach facilities. I am saving the worst for last: They attempted to charge me for Not leaving the toilet clean. HELLO! It's a toilet!. I always try to depart my room in serviceable condition. If they want the bowl thoroughly clean, they need to furnish a whisk broom. This part represented an Utterly humiliating experience. I will NEVER return there! ‐-------------------------------------------------- I just received Management's response to my review. I understand now that there was some confusion in that they were humiliating me for the wrong reason before and now are humiliating me for the "right" one. Yes. The shower water was so cold that I was forced to stand outside the water and use a washcloth to bathe myself. In turn, I removed impurities from my long trip to Puerto angel. It was the only way I could clean myself without actually stepping into the cold water. If the water had been warm or hot, I could have Washed everything Into the Septic system. My opinion is that it would be better to let such things go; however, if management wants 100 peso for the washcloth because they feel it cannot be properly cleaned, I will pay them. Just let me know where to send it. 2 stars +.
