Hotel Cheribourg an Ascend Collection Hotel

We stayed just one night at this hotel during the summer, and it turned out to be a truly charming and memorable experience. 👍The room was spotlessly clean, 👍the decor was cozy and simple, 👍👍and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—perfect for a restful night. 🤩😍👍But what impressed me most was the surrounding nature and the way the entire property was beautifully landscaped. ❤️Everywhere you looked, there were vibrant flowers in full bloom—hydrangeas, lilies, wild roses, and tall lavender bushes lining the paths. The scent of the blossoms filled the air, especially in the early morning and at sunset🥰, creating a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. It felt like walking through a botanical garden, and that floral beauty and calmness was the main reason we chose to stay here.🥰 👍The hotel also has a lovely outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers where you can relax under the open sky, and just beyond that is a tranquil lake surrounded by trees. 👍The lake area is serene and perfect for a quiet stroll or simply sitting and enjoying the view. Despite our checking out nearly an hour past the time, the staff was incredibly kind and didn’t charge us anything extra. 👍It’s a peaceful place that blends comfort with the natural beauty of summer, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by flowers, water, and quiet. Especially recommend it for families with children. 👍👶🏼👧🧒🏻Because there are a lot of things to do for children. 😁I definitely recommend it

we reserved 2 rooms in this hotel, one is fine, however the other has a strong carpet smell, after we report this to the frontdesk, they changed the room immediately. in General, it was a great stay. Too bad we didn't have a chance to use the facility for the kids. One suggestion, when we first arrived, we didn't see a sign for the wheel chair, and we ended up climbing the steps with luggates. In the parking lot, they should put a big sign for the wheel chair.

We spent three nights at Hotel Chéribourg during Ontario’s March Break and had a fantastic time. Since Quebec’s break was the week before, the hotel wasn’t too busy. This was our first time staying at Chéribourg, though we visit the Eastern Townships every year. The region never disappoints, and this hotel was an excellent choice for a family vacation. The highlight for our kids was the large game room, which offers everything from a big play structure to foosball, billiards, air hockey, bouncy castles, trampolines, a cinema, video games, and crafts table. They also have a pool and both indoor and outdoor hot tubs. While Chéribourg isn’t a luxury hotel, it has all the essentials for families looking to keep their kids entertained. It’s a great value for the price and our kids were absolutely thrilled with the experience. We’d definitely come back.
