Excellent service and well managed hotel in the most beautiful area of north Italy (South Tirol).
Great place! newly renovated in 2018 (apart from some rooms) with a great terrace and a very nice spa area. Extremly friendly staff gives it a very homely feeling.
We spent 5 days at Hotel Christof and booked the largest Suite in the hotel (Panorama Suite). What the hotel does well: + diner was mostly good, especially the dessert was the highlight for me. + free masks and disinfection spray everywhere in the hotel + friendly staff + very nice view over the town Eppan However there are many minus points at this hotel: - one evening our kids were still swimming in the pool shortly after the closing time (7 pm), the staff just turned on the swimming pool cover while my son was still under the water. I later informed the reception about this incident and kindly asked them to check if anyone still in the pool before they close the pool. The answer from the staff was that since it was past 7 pm, no one should be in the pool. - no coffee machine or water cooker in the suite. - no shutters in the bathroom so at night you have absolutely no privacy while you sit on the toilet or take a shower. - not enough parking space - the quality of diner varies. Sometimes we had lukewarm soup or main dishes. - very small wellness area For the prices we paid, I expected a bit more, especially the Panorama Suite didn't live up to my expectation. The hotel we stayed before (Hotel Monika in Sexten) does a much better job.
