I had an incredible and amazing stay at the Colosseum Hotel and Restaurant in Tirana. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, with all the amenities that make you feel at home. The decor and cleanliness are truly impressive, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant offers fantastic food, and I particularly enjoyed the fish—I was very happy with the quality and taste. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Colosseum Hotel and Restaurant to everyone visiting Tirana. It’s a great place to stay and dine, and I look forward to returning!

If you're heading to Tirana and want something central, sleek, and decently priced, Hotel Colosseo Tirana will probably catch your eye. From the outside, it absolutely looks the part—modern build, clean lines, sharp signage. Walk in, and the lobby confirms it: this place is polished. It promises upscale comfort without the snobbery, and for the most part, it delivers. The location is hard to beat. Smack in the middle of the city, you can walk to most of the places you’ll want to visit—Skanderbeg Square, the National Museum, cafés, restaurants, the works. Bonus points for offering free parking (rare in the city) and an airport shuttle. The rooms? Mostly great. Clean, fresh, and quiet. Beds are genuinely comfortable, and a lot of thought clearly went into the layout. Some rooms even feel borderline luxurious, while others are, well… tight. If you end up in one of the smaller ones, you’ll notice fast. For a 4-star hotel, that inconsistency stands out. Service is generally friendly and professional, but it depends on who’s at the front desk. Some staff go the extra mile—offering tips on where to eat or adjusting check-in times without fuss. Others seem like they’re just doing their shift. Not rude, but not overly warm either. The breakfast buffet does its job, but don't expect to be wowed. It’s varied enough, but not exactly memorable. Coffee’s decent. The WiFi? Hit or miss. If you’re working remotely, bring some patience. Where it really does well is the vibe. This isn’t some dusty old Balkan hotel with dated carpets and weird smells. It feels contemporary, comfortable, and—when everything’s working right—surprisingly refined. Bottom Line: Hotel Colosseo Tirana is a strong 4 out of 5. It’s clean, stylish, and in a fantastic spot. You’ll sleep well, eat okay, and probably enjoy your stay. But if you’re expecting perfection—uniform service, flawless tech, or consistently large rooms—don’t be surprised if reality falls just short. Would I stay again? Yes. Would I call it luxury? Not quite. But for the price and location, it's one of Tirana's better options.

The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Tirana. A safe area with quick and easy access to all places on foot. I changed my room twice during my 3-day stay at the hotel. Both rooms had a severe water leak in the bathroom system, which you can see in the photos. The hotel breakfast was very poor. The service in the morning was terrible. 6 waiters who only looked at you. Unlike all hotels that offer buffet breakfast, here you can only have a coffee for breakfast and you have to pay for the rest. Although the hotel is a 4-star hotel, the breakfast was even worse than a 2-star hotel. The hotel reception was very poor. I would never recommend this hotel.
