Hotel Cozzi Ximen Tainan

Centrally located in town with Anping district just a few minutes by car away. The hotel is also located next to a shopping centre /super market so you can get snacks / food if you're too lazy to go far (especially with young kids). The hotel is definitely catered to kids and level 4 (lobby), has an outdoor play area including a sand pit (clean white sand!), a train where parents & kids can hopped on (though there is a schedule), and electric cars which the kids can either ride themselves or parents can use a remote to control it. This opens at 8am and closes at 10pm so my 6-year old could spend the whole day there. Level 5 is the indoor playground and split across different rooms. Another place where the kids can entertain themselves for a couple of hours. Level 12 is the gym but it is fairly basic. 2 running threadmill, a stepper, and 2 bikes. The weights were kept behind locked doors. Rooms are big and we had two queen size beds and enough space (and walking room) for a travel cot too. Amenities are unfortunately not available given environmental policy changes but there is a water dispenser at the lift lobby on the room floor. Will certainly be back again if we come back to visit.

Stayed at Hotel Cozzi for 2 nights. We are a family of 3 (with 1 baby). Pros - - Centrally located, close to most attractions and a huge mall. - Lots of eating options nearby on all ends of the cost spectrum. - Large, comfortable well-lit rooms with great, soft beds. Our request for a baby cot was fulfilled. - Large bath/toilet area with a Japanese toilet. - Great for our baby, as there is an entire floor with 3 differently themed play areas. These are cleaned regularly, so it's great. - Wifi was decent throughout. - The entire hotel was cartoon themed, which our baby loved! Cons - - We opted for breakfast on the last day. The layout of the breakfast is a bit weird. Overall, the spread is good, but on a taste level, I'd say it was just ok. The eggs were soggy, the coffee was so-so. The fruit platter was fresh. - Staff is helpful, but need to prod them to get more information or details about a facility. - There is a laundry room, but it is paid. There's an accompanying seating area, which looks comfortable but the couches/bean bags need some cleaning.

The price is almost the same level as Region but The room is huge! Without a coffee machine, it makes people sad. Using instant coffee instead make it worse. BF lacks of protein but, luckily the beef soup saved the total experience.
