Hotel Dann Carlton Belfort Medellin

I’ll start with the bad and end with the good. I was charged $330 USD (1,350,000 pesos) for laundry service. It was 4 days worth of clothes between my wife, 2 boys under 3 and myself. The room service food was terrible. Not sure if it’s because I ordered 15 min before they stopped serving breakfast and I got leftovers? The food at the lobby is much better. The service was excellent. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Great location.

Old, poor service, no coffee, old and broken safes, no hair dryer, no iron, no ironing board, no ice, noisy AC, 30 minutes to check in, barking dogs across my room, old elevators. I could hear my neighbors like they were in my room, there is no noise isolation. Just not a 5 star experience like they claim. I reserved for my two kids my wife and I. When we got to the room... Only one bed. They had a sofa bed, but no mattress in it. I called the reception and they said "well, it's your fault, you reserved a standard room". And I got pissed off and told them "I don't know what type of room, but the reservation is for 4 people. How is this my fault?" Fortunately, they ended up switching us to another room. When we got there, no towels. Called the reception after having to figure out how to get in touch with them (0 does not work and no instructions on how to reach the front desk anywhere)...we had to wait 40 minutes for them to bring them so I could shower and leave the hotel. Positives: the bed was very comfortable. The location is good if you have a car. You won't be able to walk too much

I was charged 350 USD for 4 days worth of laundry. That’s 40% of what I paid for my whole stay of 7 days 8 nights. Me cobraron $350 Dolares por lavar ropa sucia de 4 Dias. Eso es 40% de lo que pague por el hotel por 7 Dias 8 noches. I will not be back here again. No volvere
