Hotel Dar Dhiafa

Perfect spot for a digital nomad! Dar Dhiafa shows a great sensitivity to ambiance and mood. The rooms, common areas, and outdoor pool spaces are crafted with beautiful colors and natural materials that foster a calm and serene stay. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and harmonious. What truly sets Dar Dhiafa apart, though, is the people! The entire staff is warm and attentive. A special mention goes to Amine, the super proactive, reliable, and hospitable Receptionist who really goes above and beyond for guests. His leadership and dedication added such an extra layer of comfort to Dar Dhiafa and just want to thank him.

A stunning traditional hotel in a perfect location for Djerbahood. Absolutely beautiful rooms and pool areas, gorgeous traditional features everywhere. The restaurant was superb and the service during the day is discreet which is lovely; just ask for something and it arrives swiftly. There was an electricity outage in my room for a short period which was not an inconvenience at all but the hotel would not let me pay for lunch as an apology; this was thoughtful and generous. The staff were lovely, especially Amine who was exceptional in his service, thank you so much! Nothing was any trouble; Amine and Marwa (I hope I have spelt it correctly!) charged my phone and power bank for me, gave me advice on local amenities and were generally so friendly, caring and helpful. As a solo travelling woman this was greatly appreciated. The waiters Fathi and Aymen were also really friendly and helpful to me. Absolutely wonderful staff, I highly recommend this hotel. I would love to come back to Djerba and stay here again!

Nice place to stay in Djerba near the artsy section in town and not far from the famous historic synagogue. There was a blackout during my stay not the fault of the hotel but it’s something to be mindful of if booking here in middle of nowhere that it can happen again. Also the service is nice but not very friendly. Like when I asked what time checkout is, was told 12 and that is maximum. Now a hotel doesn’t have to offer late checkout but there is a nice way you can say it, like I am sorry we cannot do late checkout today as we are fully booked but you are welcome to hang out in the lobby. Or during the blackout they didn’t really proactively try to apologize about it at all.. the grounds are beautiful and it’s mostly comfortable, bed is a bit firm.
