Hotel Dardha

Exactly what you would expect for a long-standing hotel in a relatively remote village. super cozy, delicious food that reminds you of grandma’s cooking, super kind staff, incredible views. The kind of place you go for a weekend and just forget about everything outside of those four walls. The drive to get there can be a little risky due to narrow roads and other drivers, but it’s worth it.

Mountain hotel located just above the beautiful village of Dardha. I was a little early to check in, but I was allowed to leave my backpack inside so I could explore the village. The rooms are beautiful, all have a balcony and are well insulated. The beds are very good and there is also a small refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was also fine, with a bath and hot water. Strange thing is that the WiFi in the rooms did not work, although the network was found. For WiFi I had to go to the ground floor, where the bar and restaurant are. It was also strange that I could not or was not allowed to pay by card... My experience would have been better if that had been possible because then I could have used a little more, but now that was not possible because they could not give back on 2,000 lek notes. That is an area for improvement, because the hotel deserves better. I also think it is normal that WiFi works everywhere and that people can simply pay by card in a four-star hotel. For the rest I was treated like a VIP because I was apparently the only guest in the hotel and in the restaurant (low season). The breakfast was also great. Very extensive, and I received a pot of coffee upon simple request.

decent hotel with a good view, rooms are very hot in the summer - not a food aid on doesn’t work at all, more suitable for winter type hotel. hotel rooms were old fashioned and the wifi is not the best but the views are amazing with good breakfast included.
