Hotel De Luxe is a great choice for a stay in Nitra. The rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely furnished — everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is very kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast is quite decent, with a good variety to start your day off right. Overall, a pleasant experience and a solid option if you’re looking for quality accommodation in the city center.

This is a spacious room, divided into a bedroom and a living room. Spacious bathroom. Everything you need: toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, milk, shower gel, body lotion, shower caps, bath salt. Also in the room there are robes and slippers with a normal sole, and not thin like a serveret. Mini bar (paid) As a gift to me champagne. Snіdanok to enter the room. Parking for the hotel is free (for tourists the hotel is free). Didn’t like it · The presence of a cigarette aroma, the place was smoky, perhaps it was drawn across the balcony, as if there was a bari downstairs. The pillows are large and not at all soft and soft.

I’ve stayed in over 100 hotels around the world from Latin America to Mumbai and this is the only hotel where a receptionist screamed at me just for asking a polite question 🫠 I was traveling with my assistance dog, a certified service animal for people with disabilities. I simply asked if she could check the policy or call a manager to clarify whether I needed to pay a fee. I clearly said I had all the documents and was happy to show them. Instead of helping, the receptionist yelled at me, saying: “I won’t call a manger! I’m not blind — I saw you have a dog!” When I explained that this is a service dog, she raised her voice again, called the manager and falsely claimed: “She doesn’t want to pay for the dog.” That is absolutely untrue. I never refused to pay I only asked for policy clarification. I asked her whether she knew what an assistance dog was and if the hotel had hosted any before. She said: “No.” I asked to google it so she could understand my ask. She again said “No”. I was speaking in English the entire time; she kept responding in Slovak. I even asked: “Why are you yelling at me?” She stayed silent. I asked if anyone before has ever stayed with assistant dog. She said “no”. This verbal aggression went on for several minutes. I eventually paid just to stop the confrontation but no guest, nobody should be treated like this. I urge hotel management to review the security camera footage and audio from reception during this incident. Also, I stayed in room 21, and the mattress was unusable for sleep. It’s acceptable only if you plan to sit on it not lie down. There’s a large bump in the middle from years of use. It’s way past due for a change. On top of that, the lampshade on the right side of the bed was covered in mold and what looked like dried mucus, unhygienic. I’ve stayed in hotels with poor furniture or damp rooms before, it happens. But being publicly yelled at and humiliated by staff for simply asking a question about all accommodation? That’s inexcusable.
