Hotel Devín

Firstly I would like to say that the staff were great, all our interactions with reception and breakfast staff was excellent, very helpful. Best staff member was the bar man, excellent again and go do all on his own effortlessly over the weekend was to be commended. Really liked the style and elegance of hotel, while parts felt like going back in time it added to the charm. The rooms were very spacious, the bed was very comfortable. Location is the very strongest point of the hotel to get great view of Danube, bridge and UFO. Also very good breakfast. There was a cat hotel next door that my wife visited twice and was a pleasant bonus for her

Best choice in Bratislava for staying. Beautifull building, great location, by the river, breathtaking view in the Danube! The rooms are extraordinary, everything you possibly need, they got it! Breakfast is above expectations. And last but definitely not least, the people of the hotel: politeness, professionalism, everyone is PERFECT! I recommend it with ally heart, we will come back for sure!

A good hotel with a historical style, that wouldn't have been our first choice stylewise, but catched our hearts, because of its history, the cleaness, the location, the great danube view, the awesome staff (especially the barman/water in the café/lobbybar), the good breakfast and awesome food in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious, only the shower could be a bit larger. Beds are good. There is all you need present in the room. For me as a frequent hotel user the tv could be larger and when having a guest system on the tv, I like to be called with my new instead of "no guest" in the welcome message. Only the slight smell of our room was a bit of an turn-off, but we used a room scent then. Overall I can fully recommend this hotel and honestly: I've been to a lot. What I also have to point out is that I loved in this hotel that it doesn't feel so "generic" like the other hotels in Bratislava we've been to, but you get a feeling of Slovakia when walking the lobby/groundfloor and this is actually what I'm searching for as a traveler: A connection to the country I visit, which is this hotel doing very good.
