Hotel Es Marès

This is a great hotel on Formentera, well-located, with friendly and helpful staff and excellent rooms.

I wish we could have stayed at this hotel for a week. It was tranquil, peaceful and serene. We loved everything about it. The rooms were VERY clean and comfortable. The design was perfection and the shower was our favorite part -- it felt like you were at a spa. My husband got a massage and I had a manicure and we both really enjoyed our experiences. Next time we stay I'd love to try the spa circuit. The outdoor pool was beautiful and we swam after days at the beach. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant very much for lunch one day. The waitstaff was kind and friendly. The gym may have been my favorite part! Outdoors with a beautiful breeze and view. Brand new, updated equipment. The staff is INCREDIBLE. They provide beach towels, gym towels, umbrellas and beach bags. They helped up book taxis, provided restaurant and beach recommendations and every little question we had they were there. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! We can't wait to come back.

Good location and nice enough design. Rooms simple but comfortable beds. Standard rooms small but good enough. Wouldn’t want to spend much time inside. Breakfasts standard buffet nothing out of the ordinary but ok. Lacks atmosphere but great location in the heart of town so easy access to evening strolling and restaurants. Good base.
