Hotel Excelsior

We stayed at this hotel in July 2025 as a family of four, booking two rooms. The hotel is small but well equipped, and we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We didn’t try the dinner service, as we preferred to eat out. The location made that easy—the hotel is just a short 2-minute walk from the main street with plenty of restaurants and bars. The garden is shaded by pine trees, and the pool is a good size for a swim, especially in the quieter evening hours. The hotel is right next to the beach, and we appreciated having a reserved sun umbrella. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of fresh options. A special thanks to Mathilda and the staff at the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping—they were all friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would be happy to return.

Not a single thing to criticise. Great room, good value for money, great staff. As we had Breakfast only, I can only say, that it was absolutely fabulous.

Fully deserving of its 4 stars. Great location, very good breakfast and a modern, nice clean room with a great bathroom. What also makes this hotel is the lovely staff, the receptionists especially need a mention, always smiling, excellent English and appear very happy. The pool is also very nice and clean. It is also close to a huge variety of restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend and will visit again.
