Hotel Gaivota Azores

The hotel was great and the staff were very nice. They give free breakfast and adaptors because the chargers are different. The housekeeping gives 2 free gallons of water every day. Also there is a big parking garage exactly across the street. The hotel also gives a parking pass which is $5 per day at the garage. The original is 30 euros per day. The hotel has many amenities and options for what you need. It was right where you wanted to be. I enjoyed this hotel and it was great thank you for hosting at this great location.

We stayed here for six nights in late February. The rooms are actually apartments. Our room had a living/dining area, a bedroom with a door, a bathroom and a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator, electric cook top, and assorted cookware, dishes and utensils. There are two TVs, one in the living area and one in the bedroom. There was also a balcony facing the harbor with a small table and two chairs. There are several restaurants near the hotel and a grocery store right next door so everything you need is really convenient... except parking. When we arrived I had to driving around the area three times before finding a place on the street just so we could check in. We found out that they will rent you a pass key to an underground parking area run by the city and we never had a problem parking near the hotel once we had the key. While the apartment was quite nice the staff was excellent and helpful. There is a breakfast included with the room and I think it's a step up from usual breakfast offered at most of the big chain hotels in the US. I would enjoy staying here in the future.

Great location to explore Ponta Delgado. Rooms were spacious and well lit. Loved having the little patio to let the breeze and sound of seagulls in. Breakfast was fantastic. Including local dairy, fruits, and pastries.
