We had a wonderful stay at this stunning hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. They even assisted us in hiring bicycles, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The location is excellent, situated right next to the train station and just a short walk from major attractions like the Atomic Bomb Museum. Highly recommended for both convenience and comfort.

Definitely an older hotel with older style rooms. Took a while to figure out how to use the Aircon, but once it was going it was good. The highlight of the hotel is that it's got a great hot spring and it's pretty nice. It's about 1.1km away from the train station and over 2km away from the castle. However the hotel has a shuttle bus every 20 minutes to the train station so at least it saves you a walk. There isn't much around the hotel so you really need that shuttle to grab food and stuff. All in all, would recommend something closer to the castle. At least this hotel is cheap.

Following the great online reviews we booked our stay, and had looked forward to a great few days staying at the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima. Sadly as a four star quality hotel this, in my opinion, falls short of the mark and question its rating. The large grand reception area was impressive but dated and the rest of the hotel feels tired. On our visit the lifts stunk of cigarette smoke. Our room smelled musty, although the room was cleaned quite well, just old I think. The main issue for us however was that bed in our room was marginally a small double and not remotely large enough for two average sized adults, this, along with only one thin pillow each made a comfortable nights sleep almost impossible. Other issues was that there was no black tea in the room, only green tea which i cannot drink. We did ask reception for some however the staff member insisted they did not provide black tea and was dismissive and not interested. We had to go to a supermarket to purchase what should have been supplied, noting that this is a four star hotel. This was not a cheap hotel, yet we have definitely stayed in better 3 star properties and on this occasion wish that we had done just that……
