Our first time visiting Greenland Hotel and we would definitely come back. Very friendly atmosphere and child friendly. My kids had the best time and especially enjoyed the pool slide! Food is nice also typical all inclusive with different foods each day/night. Entertainment is good we especially enjoyed the Ethiopian acrobats the other night they were fantastic 😊. Thanks again and we will be back again in the future ☺️

We stayed at Hotel Greenland during the first week of May, and it was amazing. It was early in the season, so the hotel was fairly quiet at first—something we really appreciated—but it began to pick up as the week went on. Even then, the atmosphere remained relaxed and welcoming throughout. 🛏️ Rooms & Comfort We stayed in a standard room, which we found clean, comfortable, and full of character. Some reviews mention the rooms being dated, but we personally loved the traditional wooden decor. The balcony was a good size for two people, and the air conditioning worked really well. The room was cleaned daily, and the fridge was restocked with bottled water at no extra cost, which was a really nice touch. 🌊 Pools & Facilities There are two pools at the hotel—one quieter pool up the hill for relaxing, and a lively one down near the entertainment area with music and a slide. The water was a little cold, but that’s to be expected early in the season, and we soon got used to it. There were always plenty of sunbeds, and we never struggled to find a spot to chill. The entertainment was exactly what you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort—karaoke, live music, dancing, and games like water polo. Nothing over the top, but still good fun. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Staff & Service The staff were absolutely incredible—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. A special mention has to go to Murat, who really made our stay unforgettable. He struggled with English at times, but he learned our names, used a translation app when needed, and always greeted us with a massive smile. He genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. We arrived late due to our flight, and after contacting the hotel in advance, they prepared a selection of sandwiches in our room—an incredibly thoughtful gesture. Check-in was quick, and we were taken straight to our room on arrival. 🍽️ Food & Drink The food was great, with lots of variety. Even if you’re a picky eater, there were always chips, pizza, bread, and other familiar choices, alongside more adventurous local dishes. The cocktails were freshly made—you could really tell the difference. I’ve attached a photo of the cocktail menu to give you a better idea. 🛍️ Location & Exploring The hotel is a short ride from town and the beach. The Dolmuş (minibus) service is brilliant—just 79p per person, and it takes card or cash. Look for the sign in the window for the destination (e.g., “Blue Lagoon”). The beach area was stunning, with paragliders overhead, lots of bars and shops, and a really chilled vibe. A taxi into town cost around 300 lira. One of the highlights of our trip was booking the 12 Islands Boat Tour through our provider. We had free pickup and return to the hotel, a buffet lunch included, and the whole day was filled with unbelievable views, swimming in crystal-clear water, and exploring beautiful spots. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. 🐾 Extras & Things to Know The hotel is built on a hill, so if you’re in one of the upper blocks, be prepared for a bit of walking—it’s not terrible, but something to keep in mind. On the last day, there’s a free 30-minute courtesy room available to freshen up before your flight. You can get free pool towels, which helps save space in your luggage. There are lots of friendly cats (and even chickens!) around the resort, which added a really charming touch to the place. 🏁 Final Thoughts Hotel Greenland offers a great mix of peace and fun, with options to relax or get involved, depending on your mood. It’s ideal for couples, families, or solo travellers, with something for everyone. Between the incredible staff, great food, and stunning surroundings, we had an unforgettable time—and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Yel Hotel recently and were interested to have a look at Greenland being so close by, possibly for a future holiday. We informed the guy on reception we were from outside but were happy to purchase a drink or two to view the public areas. The Manager wasn't keen on this idea we were told, and we left. Compared with the atmosphere of where we were staying at The Yel, this was decidedly different. Far fewer people and a morose somewhat tense climate. We left knowing this was not somewhere we would think of returning for a holiday, despite visiting many others in the area.
