The hotel is nice and the service is great. That said, the hotel seems in need of a refresh in terms of the paint work. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful place and there is little to dislike about this place. I stayed in a room that faces the sea and the idea of waking up to the sea is just something out of a dream. It's also nice to be able to see many stars at night due to the low light pollution. The breakfast will do well with more variety but it's hearty to say the least. There is no issue with parking and finding it is quite easy with Google map. Really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you for being such a great host.
This hotel is situated on top of a hill. Fantastic Seaview. The hotel look dated but the room has been renovated. The toilet is quite spacious vs other hotel in Japan. The only stuff that need to be change is the TV(super basic & small) & bedding(hard & tiny pillow). Surprisingly, there's Air purifier in the room. Think the owner of the hotel should look into this trivial matter urgently. Honestly, I didn't slept well thru the night. The surrounding is serene & relaxing. Rooms are limited, therefore it's not a busy hotel. Good for those looking for a peaceful & private stay. There's not much food choice on this island but there's some water activities around here. Pool is not working during stay. Don't seem like renovation. Weather during April was cooling & very suitable for water sport. Breakfast was consider fairly good & sufficient for Japanese standard but don't expect international menu to be served(0700-0900hrs). There's not much facilities in the hotel. Ample parking space for those that drive. Overall, it's considered a good place to stay in this island. Will only come back if they change the bed & bedding.
I was so excited when we arrived for a five day stay at this hotel. The lobby looks really nice and the surrounding area and beach is extremely pretty. The staff was kind and helpful and I think they're doing their best. But after the initial positive impression we sadly found ourselves quite disappointed. The room we got had a strong smell of mildew and there was visible mold in several places. The wallpaper and furniture was very worn down and in need of replacing. The bathroom was OK! After one night we actually checked out early and went to a different hotel because holy cow the beds are hard. My wife has some back issues and hardly slept, we've slept on futons on tatami mats that were softer. I don't like to leave harsh reviews and my standards aren't snobby. I've slept in cold racing trailers for years. But when I book 4 stars I do have some expectations. The hotel is in need of a renovation, which to be fair it looks like they are doing since the bath was closed for renovations etc. So maybe in the future it'll be as nice as it looks. I think closing the place for a few days and just doing an "operation clean everything" would go a long way. Bring a pressure washer and some bleach. The location is so so nice and if the hotel gets fixed up then I'll make sure to come again 🙂↕️ Again, the staff is very nice and was very helpful when we wanted to check out early, thank you! Also lot's of parking so that's good 👍
