Hotel Ibersol Almunecar Beach and Spa

My mother and I have just spent a lovely week at this hotel in Almuñécar. It was end of April/beginning of May so the hotel didn't have too many guests which was very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel is big, spacious, has a very interesting and spectacular architecture, amazing glass lifts, fantastic greenery and flowers everywhere. We enjoyed the meals at the restaurant (we had HB so breakfast and dinners): great selection of meats, fish, vegetables, cheeses, fruits etc. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very flexible. They catered to all our needs. When the shower didn't work properly- it was repaired the very same day. When we needed something- we were brought that after 10min! Super attentive and considerate! Thank you Ibersol Beach & Spa Hotel! I'd love to come back so hopefully see you again :)

Nice, clean hotel with good service. It's in quite small town. Mostly occupied by older people. There is a great soft play with trampolines, which was a hit for my daughters. The indoor heated pool was great but a bit to deep. Indoor and outdoor jacuzzi was really relaxing for me, pitty kids are not allowed even the water was not hot. Animation team is ok, I enjoyed morning activities ( zumba, yoga) and there is mini disco for kids. Evening show could be better and entertaining staff too.

Based on my personal experience during my stay... If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet, and quality holiday experience, I suggest considering other hotels in the area. there are definitely better alternatives. This hotel is very large and seems to be designed primarily for large tour groups, often arriving by bus and checking in as a crowd. It caters well to bulk tourism, especially through operators like TUI etc. If you happen to make a reservation by mistake and miss the free cancellation deadline, there is absolutely no flexibility. No matter how early or reasonably you ask. I tried several times, even during check-in. The answer was always the same. The reception staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. I truly appreciate their friendly and solution-oriented attitude. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the hotel management.
