Hotel Kinyaah

If you are visiting Merida for health or vacation, Kinyaah Hotel is a good value for money. Its rooms are new and comfortable. Excellent WiFi service with no problem connecting to my conference, it has a restaurant underneath the dinner and breakfast are good and hygienic moreover othe options of fast food in the square, a 24-hour drugstore beside.

This was a great place to stay. I was able to use Uber to get to certain places but most of the things I wanted were within a few minutes’ walk. The mall was maybe 10 minutes away. The area is safe and I didn’t mind the noise level. I had a view of an intersection which was great for an aerial view of parades and traffic. The refrigerator was super small which is why I gave it 4/5 stars. I did ask for a refrigerator in my room since I was staying over a month there. They said all rooms come with a refrigerator so I was guessing it would be the bigger ones seen in the photos they had since I was in a “family” room. Though a family may have felt extremely close in my “family” room (2 beds). I will add a pic of my refrigerator. Look at the outlet and the top of the fridge to gauge how big/small it was. After my trip there and getting TO the hotel, I was not about to switch rooms. I had to shop often since there was no space in the refrigerator. Overall, this was a nice spot. The people there are great and friendly. If you need a bigger refrigerator, do not make my mistake of asking and thinking you will get what’s in the pic. Specify you would like a bigger refrigerator. Oh, also, there is hot water but for the purpose of a shower, the hot water goes quickly. It was a 10L hot water tank in my room. It goes quick but gets hot again after some minutes.

If you need to go to the Imss clinic in Mérida. This place is right in front of the Hospital, and let’s family and friends of the patient. Stay comfortable in an air condition. Room not too big, but clean.
